Dron Court is ideally situated to enjoy the many attractions of St. Andrews which is only five miles away with its world famous golf courses, St. Andrews University buildings (the oldest university in Scotland), cathedral, fascinating castle with secret passage, leisure pool, botanical gardens, and not forgetting the long, sandy beaches and dunes. The West Sands Beach is one of the cleanest beaches in Britain.

The quaint fishing villages of the East Neuk such as Crail, Anstruther, and Pittenweem with their traditional fisherman's cottages and attractive harbours are a short car ride away, as are the many golf courses ranging from championship standard to shorter holiday courses more suitable for beginners. Northeast Fife boasts many interesting attractions including Falkland Palace and National Trust properties.

A very good selection of pubs and restaurants are close at hand where traditional Scottish food and drink are served in most pleasant surroundings.
