About Dron Court
Dron Court farmhouse and outbuildings originated in the 17th century on the site
of a hilltop watering and resting place used by monks travelling to and from St.
Andrews.
One of the five original wells has been restored and forms part of the landscaping
which makes the courtyard so attractive. The site, with two acres of garden, overlooks
the Eden Valley with its wealth of bird life and the River Eden itself, well known
to those interested in fishing.
